Job description

Job Opportunity: KS1 Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their educational journey? We're searching for a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team on a part-time basis (4 days a week, Monday to Thursday). This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a genuine interest in Key Stage 1 education.

Start Date:ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to Key Stage 1 pupils.
  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students to enhance their learning experience.
  • Creating a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages academic progress and personal development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to implement differentiated strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Contributing to the planning and preparation of educational materials and activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within Key Stage 1.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service or willingness to undergo a new check.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
