KS1 Teaching Assistant for an 'OUTSTANDING' School in New Moston

Teaching personnel are currently working on behalf of an 'OUTSTANDING' primary school in the New Moston area of Manchester, (M40) who is looking for a Teaching Assistant in KS1 starting immediately until the end of the academic year and may be extended in to the next academic year dependant on School circumstance.

The Head Teacher is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who has KS1 experience; the ideal candidate will have experience of the current curriculum and be very comfortable working closely with the students. The successful Candidate would need to be an incredibly dedicated Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate would be comfortable working with the Year 1/2 class & competent with all areas of the KS1 curriculum. The post is to start as soon as possible and will continue up until the end of the academic year as a minimum.

The ideal candidate will have;

  • A minimum of 12 months experience within KS1

  • Experience of working with groups & aiding learning on a 1:1 basis.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
