KS1 Teacher is needed to work within a EYFS and KS1 School in Salford within their OFSTED outstanding School.

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher for our partner school, a primary specialist school in the Salford area. The position will be working predominately with children 4-11 year old pupils who have verity of Special Education Needs. Your role will be supporting with behaviour management and to engage and interact with the children to enable them to be able to access to curriculum fully.

As I work with a wonderful SEN School in Salford who are currently seeking an SEN Teacher for short term and longer term based role. Many of their pupils have additional physical disabilities, medical, care and sensory needs and behavioural difficulties.

The role will entail leading a small class of SEN pupils reaching learning targets and there will be daily planning involved. The pupils are on the spectrum and have sensory requirements. The classes are smaller than mainstream and you'll have the support of 2/3 TAs to assist in class for various pupils.

The ideal candidate:

  • Have PECS and Makaton training / experience but not essential
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour or have Team Teach training (positive restraint training)
  • You will need to be confident, organised and be able to lead a team
  • Flexible, adaptive and versatile individual

Pay rates are £110-120 per day!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
