About the School: Located in the City Centre, our esteemed primary school is on the lookout for a General Teaching Assistant to join their team in May 2024. Renowned in the local community, the school holds a GOOD rating from Ofsted and prides itself on fostering a nurturing and secure environment. Their forward-thinking curriculum caters to diverse student needs, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and the close-knit community of 200 students offers a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
The Role: As a General Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students' learning journeys within the classroom. Collaborating closely with the class teacher, you'll assist in managing and supervising the classroom environment. This role suits individuals passionate about working with children and eager to positively contribute to their development. It also offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to enhance their skills and gain valuable teaching experience. While experience in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and phonics instruction is beneficial, it's not mandatory.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
