The Role:
As an English Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting young learners' literacy development. Your passion for language and literature will help create inspiring lessons, captivating storytelling sessions, and imaginative writing workshops. Collaborating with our talented teaching staff, you'll tailor lessons to meet individual needs, ensuring each child reaches their full potential. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity starting in June 2024. The school has high aspirations to offer a permanent role to the right candidate, contingent upon achieving successful outcomes. Furthermore, we offer a competitive rate of pay at £12.90/hour.
Requirements:
• Genuine love for the English language and literature • Relevant qualifications or experience in education would be desirable. • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues. • Creative and resourceful approach to teaching and learning • Enthusiasm for creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. • Dedication to fostering a love for reading and writing in young minds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
