We have a rewarding opportunity in a highly-accredited Special Needs (SEN) Primary School based in Hayes and Harlington. With additional autism classes to open in September 2019 they are looking for Key stage One (KS1) teachers who can start for the Summer term in classes across EYFS and KS1 prior to teaching a class from September 2019.

The school are looking to appoint primary teachers with a proven track record of quality teaching and classroom practice. Autism teaching experience is highly desirable due to the needs of the children but not ideal as training will be provided. Support in class is also provided with a small team of trained SEN staff at your disposal to support pupils in class.

Successful teachers will join a highly trained and established team on an exciting journey to continue the positive development their school.

Successful candidates will:

  • Demonstrate a record of quality teaching practice
  • Have good experience or understanding of teaching children with autism
  • Demonstrate a creative attitude to delivering national curriculum for children with autism
  • Be fully committed to learning from and contributing to a team
  • Have exceptional communication skills to engage with pupils, parents and colleagues
