A positive and inspiring Key Stage 2 primary teacher is required on a full time basis from September at one of our primary schools based in Plymouth – not to far from the main City Centre. (Staff parking available)
From visiting the school I learnt that it is filled with warm and welcoming staff. The children are excited to learn and eager to progress in their education. They have around 100+ pupils with a few needing additional support and around 22 staff members. This school is keen to start the recruitment process ready for September and will meet the right primary teacher when able to. (Position will be able to start sooner depending on the current situation)
They are proud of their school and are dedicated to their local community. I would describe the team as committed, passionate and extremely supportive within school.
Requirements for the school:
- QTS and relevant qualifications such as PGCE, BEd, Degree with QTS.
- Experience teaching in a primary schools, preferably Key Stage 2.
- Able to support the school's vision, values and aims.
- Support and monitor the overall progress and development of all children within your area of responsibility, including those with special educational needs.
- To share in the development of the school curriculum, schemes of work, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment and their review.
- To support and contribute to the school’s responsibility for safeguarding children.
- Be committed to creating challenge, excitement, creativity and independence.
- Be dynamic, resilient and hard working with a positive nature.
- Be able to work as part of a team and establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, governors and staff.
