Key Stage 1 Teacher- GOOD school- Salford

Due to an upcoming planned absence within a popular Primary school in Salford, Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Key Stage 1 Teacher. This full time position (required to start from October 2018) represents an outstanding opportunity for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join an Ofsted graded GOOD school until the end of the academic year.

Key responsibilities:

  • To teach pupils in line with their educational needs and school policy.
  • To plan and prepare lessons effectively according to the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • To assess, record and report pupils' progress and attainment.
  • To maintain good order and discipline amongst the pupils and prioritising their health & safety at all times.

Specific job details:

- Pay in line with MSP/UPS (£22,917- £38,633)

- The opportunity to earn a fixed-term/permanent contract at the school following an initial supply period (one term).

- School located in Salford making it only a short drive away from the surrounding areas of Bolton, Trafford and Manchester city centre.

About the school-

Our partner Primary school is a 3-11 mixed comprehensive which currently caters for just over 250 pupils. The Senior Leadership team were recently praised for how well they manage to bring together the diverse range of pupils from different ethnicities. Further, the recent Ofsted inspection highlighted the sense of community within the school and the behaviour of the pupils.
