Due to an unforeseen absence in their IT department, our client school require an IT teacher with a solid grounding in Computing and an ability to deliver an IT and Computer Science curriculum up to GCSE as the Year 10 and 11 cohort are entering GCSE examination preparation.

Our client school is one of the more established secondary schools in the Trafford area with around 1000 pupils on roll serving a diverse catchment area. In their most recent inspection from Ofsted, the school was graded as "Good" across all areas for a second consecutive time. The school consistently exceed the national average in GCSE results and students make more than expected levels of progress particularly in Mathematics.

This position is ideal for all levels of experience, including those who are newly qualified in the profession, and the school can accommodate supporting any induction term throughout the period.

Requirements of this position;

- UK QTS or relevant teaching based qualification (PGCE/PGDE)

- Previous experience teaching IT and Computing across 11-16

- A commitment to excellent practice and encouraging students to achieve at the best of their ability
