Teaching Personnel are working with a SEN school based in Roman Road, Oldham who are recruiting for a Class Teacher of ICT to cover a period of maternity leave, starting in September 2020 and terminating on 31st May 2021.
The School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher of ICT to join their dynamic, growing and committed team of staff. They would be interested in applicants with experience of supporting children or young people with Autism or Special Educational Needs within the primary or secondary sector. This is also an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher, who can demonstrate a genuine interest in supporting SEND pupils and is looking to work for an organisation which provides opportunities for professional development and progression.
The successful candidate will:
• Be an excellent ICT practitioner with the commitment and motivation to inspire pupils’ learning and development
• Have experience of teaching ICT within the primary or secondary sector including lower level learners
• Be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation through imaginative and differentiated lessons which meet individual needs
• Have experience of enhancement of pupil progress gains and raising attainment and achievement levels of all students
• Have experience of current assessment practice and the use of data and pupil progress tracking to ensure that all groups of learners achieve
• Have specific experience / interest in working with pupils with SEND
• Possess the emotional and physical resilience necessary when working with young people with a range of complex needs
• Have the ability to foster good relationships with other staff, pupils, parents and the wider community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
