History teacher-Sunderland

The head teacher of a 'Good' secondary school based in Sunderland has requested a History teacher to work on a full-time basis from successful candidate needs to have a substantial amount of teaching experience, though NQTs are encouraged to apply. You need to have a good command of preparing students for examinations, as well as great behaviour management skills.


  • Starter needed immediately
  • Delivering History curriculum to Key Stages 3-4
  • Opportunity to work on a full-time basis
  • Evaluating class work against criteria set by exam board, creating a plan-of-action to ensure the continued progression of all students
  • Fantastic rates of pay-ranging from £120-160 daily
  • Possibility of being offered a fixed-term contract (at the discretion of the school)
  • Ability to demonstrate a variation of teaching skills, showing conscientiousness towards the individual learning needs of students
