History teacher – Manchester

A school in Chorlton are looking to seek an experienced History teacher. Teaching personnel work on the behalf of the Secondary school for all of their staffing recruitment needs. The position in Chorlton is a full time September role.

The role of the History teacher is an exciting opportunity in an ambitious and dynamic school. The school is situated in Chorlton outside Manchester city centre accessible via public transport. The successful History teacher will be working in a cutting edge Humanities department with some aspects of teaching being graded outstanding. The school is smaller than average with a supportive faculty. The History teacher will be working in diverse and vibrant area a great opportunity for any teacher to gain a new skill set. The position is open to any newly qualified and experienced teachers with suitable school based experience.

Experience in other Humanity subjects is hugely beneficial. Ideally the successful History teacher will suitable school based reference and a DBS on the update service. The Chorlton secondary school have a committed and enthusiastic team and they are looking for a History teacher to become an asset to the team.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
