History teacher Manchester

History teacher required ASAP for a secondary school in south Manchester.

Due to a long term absence in their Humanities team, a secondary school in the Wythenshawe area of south Manchester area urgently require a History teacher on a full time basis. The incoming History teacher will be required to teach across KS3 and 4, you will be working alongside 2 other teachers sharing ideas for planning and creating engaging lessons. Due to the nature of this absence, this is initially temporary until October half term, newly qualified and experienced History teachers are welcome to apply for this supply post.

*Supportive secondary school in south Manchester (M23)

*Supply pay in line with Mscale (up to £150 per day)

*Teaching KS3 and GCSE History in a supportive department

This is a well facilitated secondary school with excellent facilities and a supportive senior management team, located in Wythenshawe close to the M56 with good public transport links. The school are looking for a History teacher with great classroom presence and sound subject knowledge, if you have a passion for teaching History and are looking for a supply post apply ASAP.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
