A lovely Secondary school in Kirkham, Lancashire are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with HLTA experience in KS3 and KS3. This is a full-time post, and is initially to last until July 2024 with the potential to extend.

You will join a staffing team who are dedicated to ensuring all pupils receive equal opportunities, and create a positive and safe learning environment. You will report to the SENCO, and you will work closely with the pastoral department to create interactive and tailored resources for targeted pupils, pupils with additional needs, and pupils with challenging behaviour.

The school have strong ethos and values, and the successful candidate will be required to share the same ethos and values, and will be committed to providing opportunities for pupils educational and social development.

The successful candidate will:

Have HLTA experience in KS3 and KS4

Have previous 1:1 and small group intervention experience

Have strong behaviour and classroom management

Hold a HLTA qualification, or a Degree

Be available to commit to a full-time role during term time, 8:30am-3:00pm

The school are looking to hold interviews over the coming weeks and you will be interviewed by the SENCO.
