Teacher of History – September 2025 Start
Location: Blackpool (FY)
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working on behalf of one of our valued partner secondary schools in Blackpool to recruit a Teacher of History for a full-time, permanent role commencing in September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging History lessons that stretch and challenge students of all abilities

  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated Humanities team to support curriculum development and innovation
  • Participate in ongoing professional learning and whole-school improvement
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all students

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant subject
  • A passion for History and a talent for communicating it to young people
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to foster a culture of learning
  • Commitment to inclusion, diversity, and the success of every student
  • Willingness to engage fully in school life and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
