A 'Good' OFSTED rated primary school based in Barking are seeking to appoint a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant HLTA) to join their KS1 team. The role involves supporting the class teacher in a Reception class; as well as covering PPA sessions, where you will be required to lead lessons, 3 days a week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed individual, who is considering studying for their PGCE in the future.
A successful candidate will have:
- UK school experience, in an Early Years setting
- Cache Level 3 and/or Early Years related degree qualification
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- A flexible and passionate approach to teaching!

To apply for this role you must have an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check and be registered on to the update service. Candidates that do not have a current DBS will have to apply for one through the agency. This is compulsory and not optional.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
