Health & Social Care Teacher

A mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking a knowledgeable and committed Health & Social Care Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. The role is available on a part-time or full-time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with experience delivering Health & Social Care at secondary level, who is passionate about supporting students to achieve positive outcomes in a vocational subject area. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking school with a strong focus on student engagement and achievement.

The successful Health & Social Care Teacher will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (or have strong relevant teaching experience)

• Have experience teaching Health & Social Care at KS4 and/or KS5

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management

• Be able to engage, motivate and support learners of varying abilities

• Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
