Science Teacher – Full Time
January Start | Maternity Cover | Poole

The Role

  • Position: Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

  • Contract: Full-time maternity cover until October half term

  • Start Date: January – immediate start available

  • School Type: Mainstream secondary school

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-resourced Science department, delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Science Teacher with QTS or equivalent

  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, with excellent mentoring and support available

  • Experienced teachers seeking a full-time maternity cover are also welcome

  • Ability to teach Science confidently across KS3 and KS4 (any specialism considered)

  • Enthusiastic, committed, and passionate about inspiring young people
