Job description
A thriving and forward-thinking mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their successful department as soon as possible.

The Role:
The successful candidate will:

Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of Science
-
Plan, prepare and assess work in line with departmental schemes of learning
-
Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners
-
Contribute to the wider life of the school and the Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Demonstrate high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Be committed to raising attainment and accelerating progress

Be a positive and collaborative member of staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
