Teaching Personnel have a number of positions which would be perfect for you!
In the Burnley area there has been a recent demand for recent graduates to complete Cover Supervisor and Teaching Assistant roles starting as soon as possible. Candidates applying should be happy to consider a range of schools with Ofsted judgements ranging from 'Special Measures' to 'Outstanding'. Schools are seeking recent graduates due to their expertise, subject knowledge and enthusiasm. Candidates considering this role should be very flexible and able to adapt to a wide range of educational scenarios. They should have good classroom behaviour management skills as the behaviour in a number of the schools can be quite challenging. Candidates should be able to quickly build relationships with pupils and staff to make a good impact in the school as soon as possible.
Schools are ideally looking for candidates with degrees in Maths, English, Science or Humanities related subjects however all degree subjects will be considered.
A suitable candidate for this role should:
Be available to start as soon as possible
Have a passion for teaching and working in education
Be qualified to degree level (desirable, not essential) with experience in a school environment
The roles which are available range from 1-2 days to full time permanent positions please specify on application which kind of role you would prefer. Candidates will benefit from negotiable pay rates depending on experience (£55-70 per day). This role is perfect for a candidate looking to develop their experiences in a wide variety of schools and therefore further their career in education. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
