Graduate Teaching Assistant Roles Available in Newport

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit graduates that are looking to get into the education sector as SEN teaching support at client schools based in Newport. Candidates will be asked to engage with pupils and keep them on task to meet their learning aims and objectives, walks to the park or shop may also be required if dealing with a deescalating situation. The client schools are run by a successful team of supporting staff that are all very experienced and willing to help when they can. The students that attend the client schools may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. You will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30. We offer a competitive pay to our staff ranging from £54.00-£60.00 a day based on experience and the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
