Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting graduates teaching assistants on behalf of our client secondary school located in Bury.
Whether you are looking to gain further experience as a teaching assistant or are working towards securing a place on a teacher training course in the future, this is the ideal opportunity to work within an excellent secondary school!
- Full time and part time graduate teaching assistant positions available
- ASAP start to support secondary aged pupils (11-16) prepare for examinations
- Temporary roles for the remainder of the academic year (July 2018)
- Ideal opportunity for any graduates considering a career as a teaching assistant or for those wanting to go on to complete a teacher training course
- Earn between £1000 - £1200 per month whilst gaining invaluable experience towards a career in secondary education
** Applicants will are required to be educated to degree level and will ideally be looking to pursue a career as a secondary teacher in the future ***
The Headteacher of our client school in Bury wish to appoint a number of additional teaching assistants who can help support pupils in preparation for their summer examinations.
Graduate teaching assistant job responsibilities;
- Support pupils who struggle to engage within lessons and require additional support within their studies
- Provide KS3 and GCSE tuition sessions across a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science and Humanities
- Lead small classes and deliver pre set revision resources
- Track and monitor the progress made by pupils within sessions and feedback to senior management
This school is located close to the centre of Bury and is a short drive from the M66 motorway making it easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Bolton, North Manchester, Rossendale, and Rochdale. With recent work completed on the tram line, public transportation links from Manchester city centre also provide a direct route to the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
