  • Full and part time graduate teaching assistant positions available
  • Providing tuition to pupils aged between 11 and 16
  • Supporting the learning of pupils in a range of subjects including; English, Maths and Science
  • Pay between £250 and £300 per week

Our client secondary school located in Bolton wish to appoint a number of graduate teaching assistants within their support team. Within this role the incoming teaching assistants will have the opportunity to influence the impact of pupils learning by providing tailored tuition on a one to one basis with pupils ranging in ability. With the Headteacher of this school looking to expand the support team at school to influence pupil progress , there are a number of temporary teaching assistant opportunities available within areas including; English, Maths, Science, History, PE and Computing to provide support to pupils preparing for their summer examinations.Applicants wishing to be considered for this excellent opportunity will be educated to degree level and will ideally have previous experience working within secondary education. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to gain the necessary and invaluable experience required to prepare them for a teacher training course in the future.

The school is just a short drive from the M61 motorway and is easily accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford, Manchester and Wigan. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
