The successful graduate will be fulfilling the role of a Teaching Assistant supporting and assisting within the classroom working with students in a variety of subjects. The school being located in the central Manchester area is very easily accessible for any graduate living in Fallowfield, Didsbury or Chorlton. The metrolink tram services this school regularly with the local tram stop being a short walk away from the school as well as buses travelling near to this secondary school. The support team and entire senior leadership is highly supportive with the school regularly supporting graduates looking for a future role as a teacher.
As the successful graduate, you will be working in a support capacity, working with pupils in a full class setting as well as on a 1:1 basis or in small group settings. This could be in the form of intervention or providing support to students who require it the most. This role will allow the successful graduate to gain the necessary experience to support a future PGCE application or allow them to be involved and gain understanding of the education sector.
