Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Wanted!

Here at Teaching Personnel we are currently recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants in the Nuneaton area to work in a local SEN school to start from September. The school caters for pupils with complex special educational needs, with a focus on pupils with Autism. The core aim of the school is to utilise there excellent sporting facilities to engage pupils with Autism in team sports. The aim is to develop pupil's social skills with peers.

This is a highly rewarding role, yet challenging. Experience working with pupils with Autism would be desirable, however not essential as the school offers training.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Driven and enthusiastic Psychology and Sports graduates
  • Proactive individuals with a background in Sports coaching or taking part in team sports.
  • Display excellent communication skill
  • Patient and calm under stressful situations
  • Experience, professional and personal with pupils with SEN is ideal

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
