Geography teacher required for a long term supply position in south Manchester after October half term.

Are you a qualified Geography teacher available for a full time supply position after the half term break? Due to a staff absence with no confirmed end date, this large mixed secondary school in south Manchester have the need for a Geography teacher on a supply basis to cover for a permanent staff member who is expected to be off for some time.

  • Earn up to £150 per day on a long term supply basis , weekly pay
  • Initially for the next half term but more than likely to extend

Situated in the heart of south Manchester, this is an average sized secondary school serving a multi-cultural area of the city. The incoming Geography teacher will be required to undertake full departmental responsibilities in this position, including marking work and following department procedures. You'll be required to teach Geography to KS3 and GCSE classes, working closely with the Geography leader who will support you throughout this supply assignment. This is a school going through transition under a new Head teacher; rapid improvements were made in the last 12 months and notably to the children's attitude and approach to their learning.
