Job description

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with one of our client schools. Those who apply will be able to work closely with the school, and have the opportunity to complete longer term assignments as they arise. As a registered candidate, you will have a dedicated, specialist consultant who will work for you to find your ideal role and will provide you with a variety of job opportunities.

Successful candidates must have experience of providing support within a primary school setting, or similar. The ideal candidate should hold at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification. You should have up to date knowledge of the primary school curriculum and be confident in providing support for all pupils within a classroom. Desirable, but not essential attributes: previous experience of working with challenging behaviour and other SEN experience, working on a 1:1 or small group basis.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
