Being very busy with school requests, we are able to offer work 5 days work each week in the main, with many of the school requests for general supply teachers coming through on a day to day basis.

As a general supply teacher, you will have the benefit of being fully flexible in your availability, being able to cover lessons on a part time, temporary or even a more full time basis. There is the benefit of a variety of work covering lessons within your subject specialism or just providing general cover as well gaining consistent cover within the same school for consistency.

Highlights of the general supply teacher position:

• Pay ranging between £95 - £120 per day depending on the school and cover required (subject specialism)
• Specialist and general cover teachers required
• Temporary, part time and full time opportunities at a variety of secondary schools in the Trafford area
• Multiple requests for full days, part days and specific lessons required by secondary schools dependent upon availability
• Teach at a variety of secondary schools and academies depending on personal preference

Our client secondary schools are located in the borough of Trafford spanning the wide areas mentioned above including Stretford, Altrincham, Sale and Urmston. There are therefore multiple options for teachers that travel by public transport, including metrolink, buses and train with the centralised tram servicing a number of the secondary schools we work with. For those that travel by car and can access these areas easily, will find the majority of schools have provisions in place for secure parking.
