Job description

Science Teacher - State school - September 2016

  • Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE, at least one to A level
  • Full time and permanent role in highly successful state school
  • The school will accept teachers from a wide variety of backgrounds

Due to the progressive development of this highly successful state school, a number of posts are being created for the new academic year. The School prides itself on the excellent quality of its pastoral care, staff camaraderie and well-motivated students.

This is a full time position. Applications from experienced teachers or newly qualified teachers are welcome. The expectation is that the successful candidate would be able to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE and offer at least one of those subjects to A-Level. All members of staff are expected to make a strong contribution to the co-curricular programme and the life of this busy, forward-looking school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
