Our client secondary school located in North Central Manchester is currently seeking a General Cover Supervisor to join their school on a full time basis starting in September. This is the perfect opportunity for any graduates wanting to enhance their experience prior to starting a teacher training programme.

• Full time General Cover Supervisor post starting in September

This is larger than average secondary school with over 1100 students currently on roll; the school is located in Manchester close to Blackley and is easily accessible via the M60 motorway. The school is based on a large site providing modern, state of the art facilities and large classrooms. During their most recent exam results the school excelled achieving above the national floor standards in their key measures.

Highlights of working as a cover supervisor;

• Cover lessons across a number of topics including your own subject specialism

• Work under the guidance of teaching and associate staff in lessons and around the school

• Provide support to students during lessons when cover is not required

• Successfully managing behaviour in line with school behaviour policy

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
