Future Teachers Programme

Graduate Future Teachers needed to work in secondary schools throughout Greater Manchester. The Future Teachers programme was created in partnership with secondary schools in the local authorities of Manchester and Salford who highlighted a shortage of teachers for their own teacher training programme.

The Future Teachers programme provides graduates with the opportunity to gain school based experience before commencing a teacher training programme. Graduates are provided with placements varying between a year, 1/2 terms working in your specialism area whether that be English, Maths, Science, Humanities or Languages.

You will be working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis with varying SEN support requirements. English, Maths and Science graduates will be supporting students across the core subjects to raise attainment throughout school.

Essential criteria for the Future Teachers programme;

• University degree or relatable qualifications
• Passion for education and working with young people
• Desire to become a teacher in the future
• Previous experience of working with young people
