We are looking for an inspiring SEN Food Tech Teacher to join one of our SEN partner schools in Cambridgeshire after Easter 2021 to teach GCSE, A-level and or B-tech pupils.

The ideal Food Tech Teacher for this role will recognise the importance of food science, teaching the preservation, selection and preparation of food. You must be able to create engaging and interactive lessons that keep the pupils engaged. The ideal SEN Food Tech Teacher for this role will have strong behavioural management skills and previous experience teaching children with Autism.

As a Food Tech Teacher at this SEN school for children with Autism you must:

-          Be resilient when providing teaching in challenging environments

-          Have the ability to engage pupils in their learning

-          Prioritise consistent daily routine to help minimise anxiety

-          Be able to work with the school to ensure pupil progression

About the Food Tech Teacher role:

  • Full time
  • Earn between GBP25,714 - GBP36,691 a year
  • Potential to turn into a permanent job
