Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, passionate Curriculum Leader of Maths to join a forward thinking and innovative team. This secondary level position is a full time role.

The School is an 11 to 16 local authority foundation school in the north of Hampshire. The school is rapidly improving, especially the Mathematics department who achieved well above national average last year with a significantly positive progress 8 score of 0.18.

We are looking for someone who will build on this success, with a dedicated team of specialist teachers and a well-resourced department. You will be responsible for planning and delivering an innovative high quality maths curriculum.

Our aim, quite simply, is to make sure that every child, in every lesson, every day is achieving excellence. That is the heart of what we believe and try to live up to.

You will be joining a happy, caring and inclusive school. It is a great place to work with close links to the local authority, other local schools and a wide range of CPD opportunities. The curriculum leader for Mathematics will work closely with other curriculum leaders and the senior team to ensure success for every child.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
