Experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant required in a ‘GOOD’ Blackburn Primary School

  • A proven track record in an EYFS or Nursery setting is a necessity.
  • Work under ‘GOOD’ leadership and be well supported within school.
  • Have the opportunity to undertake a range of professional development courses through Teaching Personnel.

An Ofsted graded OUTSTANDING school in Blackburn have approached Teaching Personnel in order to appoint an EYFS specialist teaching assistant to take up a full time support role (32 hours per week) from June 2017. The role will run on a probation period for half a term with the view to taking up a temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career in a forward thinking OUTSTANDING primary school. The Head teacher has stressed that she is looking for a Level 2 qualified (or above) enthusiastic and experienced Early Years teaching assistant who can manage key worker groups, support the class teacher and deliver 1:1 support in Reading and Writing activities.

The role will be 5 days a week.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
