Teaching Assistant Required for a Reception Class in an ‘Outstanding’ Accrington Catholic Primary School

An ‘Outstanding’ Catholic Primary School in Accrington has approached Teaching Personnel seeking to recruit an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to support within a Reception class. Experience supporting in EYFS and a CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is essential for this role.

The role will require candidates to support mixed ability pupils within a larger than average Reception class, full-time. This is a temporary role that could potentially go permanent for the right candidate.

The school is located on the outskirts of Accrington with glorious views of the Oswaldtwistle moors and hyndburn area and is easily accessible from Junction 7 of the M65 and a variety of transport links. The school was judged by Ofsted in September 2014 and was judged as 'Outstanding' in all aspects including Early Years. They are a welcoming, inclusive school where every pupil is nurtured to achieve their very best. Out of the 26 local Primary schools in Accrington the children here have made highest levels of expected progress.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
