Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a small mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Oldham. As exam season is approaching, the school are seeking to appoint a team of temporary exam Invigilators to work with them during the spring and summer term.

  • Graduates, Invigilators and aspiring teachers are welcome to apply

It is essential that the incoming team of examination invigilators have previous experience within an educational setting and can support pupils who require additional guidance when reading exam questions. Invigilators will work on a flexible, temporary basis and be expected to have excellent punctuality and conduct.

Our client secondary school is larger than the national average with over 1200 pupils on roll. As any school setting, there are a number of stringent rules that must be followed by Invigilators and pupils alike. It is essential that Invigilators have prior knowledge of examination rules.

Located in Oldham, the school can be accessed via the M60 motorway. There are also a range of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from central Manchester and Rochdale.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
