English Tutor – Denton (M34)

Inspire progress. Build confidence. Make every lesson count.

TP Tutors is seeking dedicated and passionate English Tutors to work with pupils across Denton (M34) who need tailored 1:1 support to improve their literacy skills and confidence.

You’ll be delivering engaging, personalised English sessions that help learners strengthen reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills. Many of your pupils may be out of mainstream education or need focused support to bridge learning gaps and rebuild motivation. Your role will be to guide them step by step — ensuring they not only achieve academically but also rediscover their love of learning.

Tuition is delivered face-to-face, either in a pupil’s home or at a local community venue such as a library. Each session is planned around individual needs, learning styles, and goals, allowing for real, measurable progress over time.

We’re looking for tutors with solid English subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and an encouraging, adaptable approach. Whether you’re a qualified teacher or have tutoring or teaching assistant experience, your ability to connect with learners is what matters most. A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) is required.

In return, TP Tutors offers:

  • Pay between £25–£30 per hour

  • Flexible weekday hours within the school day

  • Weekly PAYE pay — no umbrella deductions

  • Ongoing consultant support and CPD opportunities

If you’re ready to make a difference and help learners in Denton (M34) reach their full potential in English, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and join TP Tutors, where every learner’s progress starts with you.
