SEN Mentor / Tutor – Sale (M33)

Support. Guide. Inspire.

At TP Tutors, we believe that every learner deserves to feel confident and supported in their education. We’re looking for patient and dedicated SEN Mentors in Sale (M33) to work 1:1 with pupils who need extra help re-engaging with learning.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that progress is about more than grades — it’s about connection, consistency, and confidence. You’ll work with children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.

Your sessions will take place face-to-face, either in the pupil’s home or in a local community setting such as a library. You’ll focus on both personal growth and academic development, helping learners build the skills they need to move forward positively.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have experience supporting pupils with additional needs — perhaps as a teacher, SEN TA, youth worker, or tutor. You’ll be confident adapting to individual needs, creating engaging activities, and fostering a calm, encouraging learning space. A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) is required.

What TP Tutors offers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
