General Tutor – Urmston (M41)

At TP Tutors, we are looking for enthusiastic and flexible tutors in Urmston (M41) to provide 1:1 support for pupils who need a more personalised approach to learning.

Many of our learners may be out of mainstream school due to SEND, SEMH, medical needs, or low confidence. Your role will be to deliver engaging sessions in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science, tailored to the learner’s age, ability, and goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers, tutors, or experienced learning support staff who want to step away from the classroom but still make a meaningful impact.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong subject knowledge (one or more core subjects)

• Experience teaching, tutoring, or supporting children and young people

• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to motivate learners

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
