English and Maths Tutor - Manchester (M11)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated and experienced English and Maths Tutors to provide 1:1 tuition for pupils in the Manchester (M11) area.

This role involves supporting students who may be working below age-related expectations, preparing for exams, or requiring additional intervention to boost confidence and attainment. Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.

The role:

• Deliver tailored 1:1 English and Maths tuition sessions
• Adapt lessons to meet the individual learning needs of each pupil
• Support students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
• Plan engaging lessons to improve confidence and academic progress
• Complete session reports following each tuition session

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of English and Maths curriculum
• Previous experience working with SEN pupils (essential)
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
