A Special school for secondary children in Stockport with SEMH is currently recruiting for an English teacher to work on a year long placement starting from January. This role may have the opportunity of becoming permanent in the future. All pupils within the school have a statement of special education needs for SEMH but many also have further specific learning difficulties. The ideal teacher will have experience of working within this type of special school and understand the importance of working with each individual pupil to ensure they make exceptional progress from their starting point in the school.
Your main subject must be English - both primary and secondary trained teachers will be considered. Preference will be given to teachers that are able to contribute to extra-curricular activities such as sports / arts / theatre etc Successful candidates must hold QTS and be a strong classroom manager with the ability to inspire children of all levels.
We are looking for experienced teaching assistants for schools in South Manchester and local areas that specialise in SEMH students across the age ranges. Qualified and experienced assistants, preferably with Team Teach if you have it. There are immediate post and positions in September.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
