English Teacher- Leigh

English Teacher required for a high achieving school in Leigh.

Teaching Personnel have been approached by one of our partner schools in Leigh to recruit for an English Teacher on their behalf. This is a fantastic opportunity for an English Teacher to join a high achieving school from May 2018 for a minimum of two terms initially.

Due to an upcoming absence within the English department, the Head teacher of this high achieving school is looking to appoint an English Teacher who has a successful track record of teaching English to Key Stages 3 & 4.

  • Full time English teacher position
  • Teaching English to Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Required to start from May 2018
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)

Our client secondary school achieved their best ever English GCSE results last summer. The incoming English teacher will therefore be joining a successful English department who are committed to achieving year on year success. The Head of English is supportive and dedicated to ensuring all teaching within the department is consistent and of the highest standard possible.

It is an average sized secondary school with just over 900 pupils on roll. It is located within the Leigh borough providing excellent accessibility to both Wigan and Bolton via the nearby motorway.
