English Teacher
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
With the latest COVID-19 pandemic, it is a time of uncertainty, wondering when or if schools will re-open for this academic year. Should the schools re-open within the foreseeable future, we are expecting schools to use a high volume of supply staff as permanent members of staff may still be in isolation if they fall into the “high risk” category, where they need to isolate for a minimum of 12 weeks. This has been something our partnership schools are aware of and have asked us to plan for should the schools reopen.
During this time of uncertainty, I would strongly advise to register with Teaching Personnel; the UKs leading education recruitment agency for when and if schools do re-open. We predict there to be a high volume of work, both day to day, full time or part time.
Below are a number of English Vacancies that our schools have alerted they will need cover for. All start dates are prospectively from Easter 2020, however they are subject to change:
- Durham - 3 x English Vacancies
- 1 Full Time role at a Catholic school teaching up to GCSE
- 1 Part Time role at a Catholic school teaching up to GCSE
- 1 Full Time role at a non-faith school teaching up to GCSE
To register your interest in these roles, please submit your CV using the link below.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
