Qualified English Teacher Required to start immediately - Doncaster

  • Excellent rates of pay. Up to £187 per day dependant upon experience and UPS points

We are looking to recruit an experienced suitably qualified English teacher for an outstanding duel site school based in the Doncaster area. This is a large multi-cultural school with over 1700 pupils on roll, including over 250 6th form students. The position is due to start as soon as possible and is covering a full-time member of staff, teaching up to Key Stage 5, the role is expected to be required until at least May 2017.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified English teacher to join a large, successful department whose results are consistently amongst the highest in the area year on year. As a whole the schools most recent GCSE results show 97% of pupils receiving at least 5 A*- C grades with its English results being over 64% A* - C. The successful candidate will be required to teach English up to Key Stage 5 and although not essential some experience of teaching Drama is desirable.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Raise attainment

• Increase subject knowledge

• Build confidence

• Practice exam questions

• Work with students on a 1 to 1 basis as well as a full classroom setting
