Are you an English Teacher seeking a new role?

If so, I work closely with an Accrington based secondary school who are seeking an English Teacher to start after the October half term, the position will last until at least Christmas, however, it is likely to continue into the new year. The role is full time and will require some planning and marking, however, the most important aspect of the role is the delivery of engaging and innovative lessons.

The School is a smaller than average mainstream secondary school and the pupils in this school generally display good behaviour, although strong classroom management skills are required in order to uphold the behaviour policy. The School is centrally located in East Lancashire and is easily accessible via public transport.

The candidate must be suitably qualified with QTS and have experience delivering KS3/4 English to a range of abilities. The candidate must be hard working, flexible, adaptable and confident. It is also important that the candidate is happy to work on a supply basis initially although the position may become permanent.

- Negotiable rates of pay dependant on experience (£100-140 per day)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
