English Teacher Vacancy, Catholic High School in Widnes - September 2017

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with the Liverpool Archdiocese and a client Catholic Secondary school in Widnes who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, honest and reliable English Teacher to begin a 12 month fixed term contract from September 2017 covering a maternity leave.

The incoming English Teacher will be expected to:

- Hold UK QTS (NQT or experienced)

- Have a valid DBS Certificate or be willing to apply for one

- Have up to date and recent teaching references

- Effectively plan and deliver engaging English lessons at varying abilities in KS3/4

- Have a sound knowledge of the AQA syllabus

- Confidently manage behaviour

- Be willing to take an active role within the school (meetings, trips, Parents Evening etc.)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
