An "exceptional" mixed secondary school with high attainment results in the Newbury area of West Berkshire are currently seeking to appoint am English teacher, full time or part time for up to two terms initially from September. There is a potential that the school could accomodate a start date after Easter.
This school firmly believe that high achievement for each and every student is a shared responsibility. The team of staff aim to ensure that everyone in the school is able to achieve to her or his full potential and, they hope, to discover new skills and talents too. The school wants their learners to be happy, confident and to have high aspirations for themselves.

- to extend students' horizons and provide opportunities for students to learn and succeed within and beyond the classroom;

- to listen to and incorporate the views of students, staff, parents and other partners in plans for improvement.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
