English Intervention Specialist

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a secondary school in Bolton aiding them in recruiting an English Intervention Specialist to join their academic team.

Due to an unexpected increase in students who require additional support, our client school is looking for a new English Intervention Specialist in order to ensure these specific students have the guidance they require.

• Full-time English Intervention Specialist to start ASAP.
• Competitive hourly rate of up to GBP30 per hour.
• Support students who require additional support within English.
• Work with pupils aged 11-16.

Working as an English Intervention Specialist within our client school, roles and responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside a senior English staff team.
• Planning and delivering intervention sessions for identified students.
• Monitoring process and reporting this back to relevant class teachers.
• Incorporate interventions for students at varying levels of learning ability including those with additional learning or behavioural needs.

Application requirements

• You must have at least 6 months experience teaching or tutoring English up to GCSE Level.

Our partner school is located in Bolton and is easily accessible from surrounding areas including Bury and Salford via the M60 and A56. For candidates who do not drive, our client schools can also be accessed via several forms of public transport from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
