English Graduate Teaching Assistant 

Are you an English Graduate considering a career in teaching? 

Join a large vibrant secondary school in September, seeking to appoint an English Graduate to support across years 7 – 11. The successful Graduate will be required from September 2020 – July 2021 and will support in the schools English department. 

As a graduate Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will take undertake a variety of roles in the English department. This position is ideal for any graduates who may be considering a career in teaching and wish to gain experience working in a secondary school. 

Responsibilities of this English Graduate Teaching Assistant position: 

  • Assist in the planning and preparation of department resources. 

  • Assist in planning lessons across KS3 and KS4. 

  • Provide in class support in lessons across years 7 – 11. 

  • Panning and delivering small group interventions to students who require additional support. 

This vibrant comprehensive school is located in the heart of Manchester and is easily accessible by public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas of South ManchesterThe school is a diverse and multi-cultural and multi-faith school catering for over 1000 pupils aged 11-16.
