Our client school based in Oldham is keen to recruit an English graduate to join their highly successful English department as a Teaching Assistant. This is an opportunity to work with experienced staff throughout the school to develop your practice, with a view to potentially starting a career in education in the future. The school is based in the Uppermill area of Oldham, and has been consistently graded 'Good' by Ofsted.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will feature in a highly rewarding and inspiring position. Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons is just a small part of the role. Your day may involve supporting students on both a 1:1 and group basis, helping young people who have a range if issues including emotional and behavioural, to reach their potential. The ideal candidate will be proactive in their approach, and be a highly inspirational and engaging character. Patience, approachability and the ability to build and maintain a good rapport with students are all highly desirable attributes of the ideal candidate.
